On the 27th October, 1940 the first competition of our Club was held at Sandgate Golf Club when 44 players participated in this event. At the conclusion of play a meeting was held and the Hole-in-One Club of Qld was established with Mr Clarrie Dixon as Secretary. He held this position until 1949 when he was appointed President.

Many more years have passed since then, and the Club is now a fully Incorporated Body.
